**American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)**

Build the skills to respond to life-threatening emergencies with **Code Blue CPR Services, LLC**. The American Red Cross Basic Life Support course prepares healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies involving **adults, children, and infants**.

Through hands-on practice and emergency scenarios, students develop CPR skills, clinical decision-making, and teamwork needed to provide effective care.

**Who Should Take This Course?**

This course is designed for nurses, physicians, EMTs, paramedics, dental professionals, nursing assistants, healthcare students, and other professionals who require BLS certification.

**What You Will Learn**

- How to assess patients and recognize cardiac and breathing emergencies.
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Safe and effective use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Ventilation techniques using a pocket mask and bag-valve-mask device.
- How to respond to choking emergencies.

**Course Format**

Students participate in instructor-led skills practice and demonstrate competency in the required skills.

If you register for a **blended-learning course**, you must complete the assigned online coursework **before your scheduled hands-on session** and provide your online completion certificate to the instructor. Refer to your registration confirmation for your course format and access instructions.

**Certification**

After successfully completing all course requirements, students receive an **American Red Cross Basic Life Support digital certificate, valid for two years**.
