Jayson Wheat is the Owner and lead Instructor of Record for TN Veterans Security Services and Training LLC DBA The Security Firm LLC. He delivers high‑accountability security, firearms, and emergency‑response training built on extensive military experience and a broad instructor credential portfolio.

He is a Tennessee PPS Instructor and Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Instructor, and holds comprehensive NRA Instructor certifications in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO, and Refuse To Be A Victim®. Jayson also teaches the full ASP Instructor suite: Expandable Baton, Restraints, OC Spray, and Tactical Flashlight.

His emergency‑response credentials include American Red Cross Instructor certifications in BLS, First Aid/CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Control the Bleed, with specialized instruction in tourniquet use and severe bleeding control. He is additionally certified in Handle With Care® Safe Restraint and De‑escalation, enabling him to train officers in legally compliant physical‑intervention techniques.
